Work will take place 'in order to undertake necessary works in the interests of public health and safety'
A part of Main Street in Letterkenny will close on Sunday till Monday morning for "necessary works."
Donegal County Council made the announcement: “It is necessary to close Main Street, Letterkenny from the junction of Rosemount Lane to Market Square, from 5am on Sunday, October 20, to 7am on Monday, October 21, in order to undertake necessary works in the interests of public health and safety.

"Diversions will be in place from Rosemount Lane to Pearse Road, Letterkenny for the duration of the works. We thank the public for their co-operation and understanding.”
