A Donegal man will feature on the Great House Revival on RTÉ One and RTÉ Player this Sunday.

When recently returned asset manager Eoghan O’Riain wanted to set up roots in Rathmullan after working all over the world, he stumbled upon this quaint terrace house with a stunning sea view.

What could have easily become a holiday home, left vacant for most of the year, Letterkenny native Eoghan hopes to transform into a cosy home for himself and his dog Charlie.

The front rooms of the house, with amazing views over picturesque and historic Lough Swilly, will be given some updating by Eoghan himself while the area at the back of the house will make way for a slick modern kitchen extension.

With a budget of €170,000 can Eoghan put his stamp on this old home and create a new life in this quiet seaside town? He will show host Hugh Wallace on Sunday night at 9:30pm

Hugh Wallace is a founding director of Douglas Wallace Architects, Project Managers and Interior Designers, which is headquartered in Dublin (Ireland). A member of the Royal Institute of Architects in Ireland, he is also a past president of the Institute of Designers in Ireland and the recipient of multiple industry and consumer awards.
