A grand total of €253,815.75 has been raised as a result of seven people embarking on a 250k bed push from the Children’s Hospital Crumlin, Dublin to University Hospital to Letterkenny, last August.
People from across the country and further afield watched Noah's Bed Push on social media as they traveled across the country. Noah's updates lifted the hearts of thousands of people and indeed resulted in a huge amount of cash being raised for beneficiaries.
Speaking today, Wednesday, at the cheque presentation event, in The Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny, the team of bed-pushers said they never imagined this amount of money would be raised. They also described the beneficiaries as worthy and said it was an honour to be part of the
momentous occasion.
A substantial donation from New York at the end of January 2022 gives the committee members and team of Noah’s Bed Push the privilege to present each beneficiary with €28,201.75 each.
The nine beneficiaries chosen by the Gooch family are (list below) this will enable them to
help other families who have a child diagnosed with a life-threatening illness:
