Phones, cash and hairdressing equipment stolen in Letterkenny burglary

 

Gardaí appealing for information about weekend burglary 

Phones and hairdressing equipment have been stolen during a burglary at Letterkenny business premises at the weekend.

The break-in occurred between 4.30am and 4.45 am at a premises in the Pearse Road area on Saturday, March 5. 

A man wearing a mask who was in a black coat with the hood up, dark bottoms and black trainers with white soles, smashed the glass front door of the premises which is close to the Station Roundabout. Cash, a black Iphone 11, a back Iphone XS Max, three hairdryers, three curlers, ten hair straighteners and two sets of hot tool curlers were stolen from the premises.

As the premises is close to a taxi rank, gardaí are in particular appealing to taxi drivers who were in the area at the time to check dashcam footage.

They are also appealing to anyone who may come across such items for sale in suspicious circumstances to contact them.
