Work is to carried out at three locations in Letterkenny in the coming days
Motorists are being advised of road closures and diversions in Letterkenny over the coming days.
Donegal County Council says road works at Ramelton Road which began today will last until June 8.
Traffic management will be in place and Ashlawn junction will be closed for part of the time.
Work is also being carried out at two junctions in the town.
Traffic loops and traffic lights have been installed at the junction of Pearse Road and Justice Walsh Road and will operate between 8am and 7pm today and tomorrow.
At the junction of Neil T Blaney Road and Joe Bonnar Road, traffic loops and traffic lights will be in operation between 8am and 7pm from Tuesday, May 31 to Thursday, June 2.
Joe Bonnar Road will be closed during part of the time and diversions will be in place.
The council is advising motorists to use alternative routes at the three locations during the periods of work and has apologised for any inconvenience which the work may cause.
