The elected members of the Lifford-Stranorlar Municipal District paid a visit to the new social housing development at Coill an Airgid in Ballybofey.
The housing scheme, currently under construction, is being delivered in three phases by MBC Building Contractors Ltd and will provide a total of 14 energy-efficient homes once completed.
Phase one of the project includes three single-storey, two-bedroom dwellings and is expected to be completed by the end of June 2025. Phase two will deliver four additional units - comprising two three-bedroom, two-storey homes and two two-bedroom apartments - by September 2025.

The final phase, due for completion by the end of 2025, will see seven more units added to the development, including two two-bedroom two-storey homes, three three-bedroom two-storey homes, and two two-bedroom apartments.
The visit by local councillors highlights the ongoing commitment to addressing housing needs within the district through sustainable and phased development.
