Family and friends of the late Darragh McIntyre and John Meenan at a recent fundraiser, which they held in their memory. All proceeds will go towards Foyle Hospice and Irish Heart Foundation
A charity barbecue organised in memory of two beloved Ballybofey locals raised over €1,200.
Susan Hanbury from Ballybofey, along with friends and chefs Katie and Mark, organised the event in memory of Susan’s son, Darragh McIntyre, and her fiancé John Meenan.
The barbecue raised a remarkable €1050 and £146 total, which was donated to Foyle Hospice and Irish Heart Foundation.
The organisers would like to extend a special thank you to everyone who helped, attended, and donated spot prizes, ensuring the event was a huge success.
They were delighted with the generosity of the event sponsors; Brown’s Tool Hire, Jacksons Hotel, Andies Supermarket, Ballybofey Carpets, Supervalu, Gallen’s Bar, Finn Valley Bistro, Pretty Paws, O’Hehir’s Bakery, Shamrock Bar, Villa Rose Hotel.
