The make-up of the Letterkenny LEA is now complete with the elections of Michael McBride and Donal Coyle in the seven-seater.

It means disappointment for Mary T Sweeney of Aontu, who ended up with 1,150 votes after the 14th count at the Aura Centre. Ciaran Brogan's surplus of 193 was distributed following his election on the 13th count alongside Jimmy Kavanagh, with Sweeney getting 21. McBride, non-party, picked up 43 of those votes to go onto 1,615 and Fianna Fáil's Coyle's 54 brought him onto 1,266.

McBride, Coyle, Brogan and Kavanagh join Fianna Fáil's Donal Mandy Kelly, Gerry McMonagle of Sinn Féin and Tomás Seán Devine, 100% Redress Party, who were all elected on Sunday.
