Gritters are out from 6am this morning
It may be New Year's Day but motorists and indeed anyone using the roads tonight or later this morning should be aware that Donegal County Council is mobilising its gritting fleet on routes all over the county from 6am this morning.
The council initially deployed gritters on Saturday evening to six routes but has now decided to extend this.
The routes are:
