Brave swimmers cover 12 beaches

'Dip' in to help a novel fundraising effort for Creeslough

Brave swimmers are still recovering today after taking part in some if not all of the novel 12 Dips of Donegal event held in aid of the Creeslough Community Support Fund which was established by the Irish Red Cross.

The hardy souls went swimming in 12 of Donegal's most beautiful beaches namely Cruit Island, Carrickfinn, Carnboy, Bunbeg, Magheragallon, Port Arthur, Glassagh Bay, Magheraroarty, Falcarragh, Killahoey, Portnablagh and Marble Hill.

All donations will be dedicated to the support of those who have been bereaved, injured, made homeless, or left without an income as a result of the tragedy that occurred in the village in October 2022.

If you didn't make it to the beach you can still donate to this worthy cause at: https://www.gofundme.com/f/12-dips-of-donegal-for-creeslough/donate

"We appreciate your support and kindness in supporting this cause," said a spokesperson for the organisers
