Almost 10,000 homes plunged into darkness
Almost 10,000 ESB customers in the Letterkenny and North Donegal areas have been without power this evening.
Homes in and around Letterkenny and Ramelton are impacted.
The power outage, which has left 9,908 customers without power, was reported around 5pm and according to the company, it is hoped all power will be restored by 9pm
A number of customers were affected in the Stranorlar area earlier today too but that matter has been fixed.
