Over 2,000 homes in the Glenties and Ardara areas were left without power on Saturday evening.
In Glenties, 1537 customers were in the dark after a power outage.
The cut was reported at around 5.45pm.
ESB repair crews managed to restore power by 6.30pm.
In Ardara, over 700 customers were affected by a power outage with the ESB saying power was back on by 7.30pm.
The ESB apologised to those affected by the outages.
