Echoes of the Glen, Kilcar committee 2022 make a presentation to Very Rev William Peoples PP
The Echoes of the Glen, Kilcar committee 2022 have just donated some vital funds to their local parish priest, Very Rev William Peoples.
Echos in the Glen is a music recital in the south-west Donegal village featuring fiddles and pipes in the Gleann a’Bhaile Dubh, recreating a tradition from the first half of the 20th century,
It is a very popular part of the annual Kilcar Fleadh held every July-August where musicians and singers from all over gather to keep this tradition alive.
The Echoes committee organised the annual charity collection at the event for St Chartha's parish and the upgrade and repairs to the building.
The committee is very grateful for the support they received and thanks everyone that contributed.
