St Columba's College Stranorlar said a fond farewell to three staff members, Elizabeth Rodgers, Sadie Long and Jim Quinn on Saturday night.

Elizabeth and Sadie have given almost 60 years of teaching service to St Columba’s between them, while Jim was part of the caretaking team since 2002.

Elizabeth came to St Columba’s in 1992 and taught religion and history, while Sadie joined the staff in 1994 and taught maths and business. Mr Tom Rowan, the principal, thanked them both for their commitment to St Columba’s and their dedication to the students over the years. Jim was also acknowledged as a dedicated member of staff who took great pride in the college. "We wish them all a very long, healthy and happy retirement," Mr Rowan added.
