Pedestrian hospitalised in Letterkenny following road traffic collision

Gardaí in Letterkenny are appealing for witnesses in their investigation into a road traffic collision that left a man in Letterkenny University Hospital

Gardaí in Letterkenny are investigating a road traffic collision that occurred on the Port Road in Letterkenny on Thursday, March 9, shortly before 11pm.

The collision involved a pedestrian and a car and it occurred close to the Dry Arch Filling Station. Gardaí spoke to all parties involved at the scene. The pedestrian was taken to Letterkenny University Hospital to receive medical treatment for injuries sustained.

"We wish to speak to anybody who witnessed the collision and we are also interested in hearing from anybody who travelled along that route around that time who had a dash cam," read a Garda statement. "Gardaí in Letterkenny may be reached on 074-9167100."
