A Donegal business is the subject of a Garda National Economic Crime Bureau investigation.
Gardaí entered the Killybegs premises this week as part of the investigation and it is understood that staff were asked not to leave, nor to use their laptops or phones.
A Garda spokesperson said they could not comment on a specified entity, but confirmed that an operation was underway.
The spokesperson said: “An Garda Síochána led by the Garda National Economic Crime Bureau are currently involved in ongoing enquiries in the Donegal area.”
Gardaí said no further information was available.
