The death has occurred of Joe Mc Fadden, Curransport, Gweedore, F92 EV20.
Predeceased by his wife Noreen, his Parents Fanny and Niall, his brothers Hughie and Charlie. Survived by his sons Pádraig, Seán and Joseph, daughters Fionnula and Máire, grandchildren, daughters in law, sisters Mary and Grainne, brothers Neddie and Johnny, nieces, nephews and a large circle of family and friends.

His remains are reposing at his late residence. Rosary both nights at 8pm. House private after Rosary until 10am and on the morning of the Funeral.

Damien Blake, Ballybofey / Letterkenny

The death has occurred in the loving care of the Donegal Hospice of Damien Blake, Curraghamone, Ballybofey (F93 YW2K) and formerly of The Maples, Letterkenny. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving wife Mary (née Gallagher), son Ríain, parents Laurence and Denise, brothers, mother-in-law Mary Gallagher and the extended Gallagher and Blake families, relatives, friends and neighbours.

Reposing at his late residence from 12 noon to 10pm on both Wednesday, September 13 and Thursday September 14, with Rosary on both nights at 9pm. 

Family time please on the morning of the funeral. Funeral from there on Friday September 15, going to The Church of Mary Immaculate, Stranorlar for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed live on the link https://www.churchservices.tv/stranorlar followed by burial in Drumboe Cemetery.

Neal Herron, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Neal Herron, Drumlonagher, Donegal Town. Funeral arrangements later.


Richard Finney, Letterkenny

The tragic death has occurred of Richard Finney, Letterkenny, deeply missed by his loving wife Olivia (née Glackin), daughter Mia, son Matthew, parents Anne and Mike Moorcroft (Lisburn), sister Karen and husband Harry Parkinson (Belfast), brother Andrew and wife Kelly Moorcroft (Manchester), granny Maria Moorcroft (Spain), mother and father-in-law Jim and Goretti Glackin (Letterkenny), sister-in-law Louise and husband Declan McCafferty (Ballybofey), sister-in-law Orla and husband Ally Rolland (Edinburgh), nieces, nephews, aunties, uncles, cousins and wide circle of friends.

Richards remains will be reposing at his in-law's residence, the Glackins, in Loughnagin, Letterkenny, (F92K70F) on Wednesday, September 13 from 12 noon until 10pm. Funeral will take place in the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny at 10.30am on Thursday, September 14 with burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetry.

Family flowers only please with donations in lieu of flowers to Pieta House c/o any family member or Con McDaid Funeral Directors.


Patricia 'Pat' Kerr, Kilmacrennan

The death has occurred of Patricia 'Pat' Kerr Leiter, Kilmacrennan, (F92 DP62) peacefully at her home.

Deeply regretted by her loving husband Robin, family Ivan and Diane, Janet and Niall, Pamela and Peter, 12 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, brother John, sisters Betty and Esther, extended family and friends. Predeceased by her sisters Ann and Roberta.

Remains reposing at her home. Funeral service on Thursday, September 14 at 1pm in Leiter Presbyterian Church. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.


Sean Foody, Letterkenny

The death has occurred of Sean Foody, 15 Main Street, Letterkenny. Sadly missed by his wife Rosie, daughters Lisa and Emma, son Seán Óg and grandchildren Caitlin, Davin, Keegan and Charlie.

Remains will repose at his home. House private from 10pm to 10am and on morning of funeral. Requiem Mass on Wednesday, September 13, at 11am at St Eunan's Cathedral, burial afterwards in Conwal Cemetery.

Patrick McGrath, Wexford / Pettigo

The death has occurred of Patrick McGrath, The Ballagh, Enniscorthy, Co Wexford and formerly Pettigo.

Beloved husband of the late Maureen, loving father of Jason and the late John, brother of Thelma and the late Kathleen, Mary, Pauline, Angela, Bridie, Jim and Mary and dear grandfather of Heather, Hazel and the late Jack and Gerald.

Sadly missed by his loving son, sister, grandchildren, family, relatives and friends.
Reposing at his home (Eircode Y21 N663) on Wednesday, September 13 from 4pm until 6pm.

Removal from his home on Thursday morning, September 14 to The Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Crematorium, Dublin arriving for his Funeral Service at 11.15am followed by cremation. No Flowers Please. Micheal Donagher Snr, Corner Bar, Market Street, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Micheal Donagher Snr, Corby, Northants UK and formerly of the Corner Bar, Market Street, Ballyshannon. He will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Regina and his son Michael, daughter-in-law Elizabeth, daughter Denise and son-in-law Kevin, grandchildren Carl, Dale, Ben and Jake, his brother Paddy, sister Louise, late brother Eddie, sister Pauline and brother Seamus, nephews and nieces.

Funeral Mass will take place at the Catholic Church of Our Lady of Walsingham, Corby NN17 1EE on Wednesday, September 13 at 10am.

Bernard Egan Snr, Bundoran, Roscommon and Manchester

The death has occurred of Bernard Egan Snr, Bundoran, Boyle, Roscommon and Manchester.

He passed away peacefully at his home in Manchester surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Lucy, (née Barry), Bundoran, and loving father of Bernard Jnr, Jackie, Bernice and Geraldine. Deeply regretted by his loving family, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews and all his many relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Breslin's Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran, (F94E92F), on Thursday, September 14 from 5.30pm to 7.30pm, all welcome.

Removal from the Funeral Home on Friday, September 15 at 10.40am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Eoin O’Moore, Wardtown, Ballyshannon and formerly Dublin

The death has occurred of Eoin O’Moore, Wardtown, Ballyshannon and formerly Dublin.

Cherished husband of Kathleen, devoted father to Aoibheann, Michael and Dearbhla, beloved brother of Mairead, Esther, Ursula, David, Breeda and Fiona. Eoin is predeceased by his parents Terence and Mary O’Moore.

Wise, loyal and staunchly principled, Eoin will be missed beyond measure for his love and commitment to his family, witty sense of humour, talented hands, the passion and energy he brought to his work as a dedicated secondary school teacher and his overall positive outlook on life.

Reposed at his residence last evening. House private at all other times, please.

Eoin's life will be celebrated with a humanist service at Colaiste Cholmcille, The Mercy Hall, College Street, Ballyshannon on Wednesday morning, September 13 at 9am followed by cremation at 3pm in Glasnevin Crematorium, Dublin.

Philip McLaughlin (Barr), Manchester, England and formerly of Buncrana

The sudden death has occurred of Philip McLaughlin (Barr), Bury, Manchester, England formerly of Leophin, Linsfort, Buncrana.

Much loved Father of Tina, Janine and Philip, dearest brother of Rose, Helen and Brigid and the late John, Pauline and Mary.

Funeral to take place on Thursday, September 21 at St. Bernadette’s Church, Whitefield.


Patrick McCauley, 53 Ard Colgan, Carndonagh

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Patrick McCauley, 53 Ard Colgan, Carndonagh. Beloved husband of the late Marion McCauley.

Much loved father of Stella, Lorraine and Patricia. Grandfather of Edward, Conor and Patrick. Brother of Colm, Sean, Donal and the late Noel and sisters Marian and Eileen.

Funeral from his daughter, Stella Farren’s residence, Glasha, Carndonagh on Wednesday, September 13 at 12 noon going to the Church of the Sacred Heart, Carndonagh for Requiem Mass at 12.30pm with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.


Eoin Brosnan, Drimaghey, Bruckless

The death has occurred suddenly in Melbourne, Australia of Eoin Brosnan, Drimaghey, Bruckless.

Dearly beloved son of Dermot and Maria, brother to Aidan (Roscommon) and Emmett (Meenabrock). Also missed by his sisters-in-law Edel and Becky, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. The family request privacy at this difficult time.
