Donegal Gardai are flying the Blue flag with great pride again as little Honorary Garda members and their families within Donegal were invited to the Finn Harps FC game last night and when there they were treated like VIP's!
A presentation was made on behalf of the Finn Harps supporters club before the game to the Little Blue Heroes.
A Garda spokesperson on the facebook page said: "We wish to thank all at Finn Harps for such a lovely gesture. H/Garda Kane Mc Anenny and H/Garda Jack Donaghey had an absolutely brilliant time! Finn Harps are now their heroes in blue!
On the night, a late disputed goal saw St Patrick's Athletic advance to the semi final of the FAI Cup, but that did not deter the joy that the club gave to these little loyal supporters.
Amazing job as always and a big thanks to both Finn Harps and the members of An Garda Siochana, who have brought so many smiles the these young heroes over recent years.
