Margaret Brennan, Fanaghan, Inver

The death has occurred of Margaret Brennan, Fanaghan, Inver, F94D2P4.
Peacefully at home, in the comfort of her family and friends. Predeceased by her parents Tom and Mary.

Her remains will be reposing at her late residence in Fanaghan on Wednesday, September 20, from 5pm until 8pm. House private at all other times.

Removal from there on Thursday, September 21, going to St. Naul's Church, Ardaghey, for Requiem Mass at 12 noon, with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. 

Mary Patricia Haughey, Kilmacrennan / Killygordon / Buncranna
The death has taken place in St James' Hospital, Dublin of Mary Patricia Haughey, 4 Rosemount, Kilmacrennan and formerly Killygordan and 9 Pairc Na hAlúine, Magherinture, Buncranna.

Sadly missed by Tony, her daughters Nikita, Chantelle, Joycelene and Sharmien, sons David, Ramada and Salvatorie, sisters Brenda and Ann, brothers Seamus and Kevin, extended family, friends and neighbours.

Predeceased by her parents Kathleen Haughey and Patsy Mc Laughlin, son Jason and sister Shauna.

Remains will repose at 4 Rosemount, Kilmacrennan from 11am on Wednesday, September 20. Funeral mass on Friday the 22nd of September at 11am in St Columba’s church, Kilmacrennan with burial afterwards in New Leck cemetery, Letterkenny. House private on the morning of the funeral.

Fuair Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí as Cois Cláidigh, An Bun Beag, bás go suaimhneach sa bhaile inniú.

Iar chrealtóir do chuid Raidio na Gaeltachta, sná Doire Beaga a bhí ann. Ar shlua na bhfírean roimhe tá a thuismitheoirí; Eibhlín & Fionntan Mac Aodha Bhuí agus a dheirfiúr Edel. Maireann a bhean chéile Bernie (Nic Pháidín), a inion Fionnuala, a dheirfiúracha; Bríd, Ríona & Colma, a dheartháireacha; Cian, Iarla, Cuimín & Barra, teaghlach leathnaithe Mhic Aodha Bhuí agus Mhic Pháidín agus a lán gaolta agus cairde eile.

Dhéanfar a fhaire sa bhaile, Dé Céadaoin agus  Déardaoin  ón 11 a chlog ar maidin go dtí'n 9 a chlog tráthnóna. Beidh an paidrín ag a 8 a chlog an dá oíche.  Ní  bheidh faire sa teach maidin an tórraimh. Curfar é i Reilig Mhachaire Gathlán Dé hAoine , 22 Meán Fómhair, i ndiaidh Aifreann 11 a chlog i dTeach Pobail Mhuire, Na Doirí Beaga.

The peaceful death has taken place at his home in Coshclady, Gweedore of Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí, former broadcaster with Radio na Gaeltachta in Derrybeg. Predeceased by his parents; Eibhlín & Fionntan  and his sister Edel. Sadly missed by his loving wife Bernie, daughter Fionnuala, sisters; Bríd, Ríona & Colma, brothers; Cian, Iarla, Cuimín & Barra and extended family & friends.

His remains will repose at his home, Wednesday and on Thursday from 11am until 9pm.Rosary nightly at 8pm. House private on the morning of the funeral. Funeral Mass on Friday, September 22, in St. Mary's Church Derrybeg at 11am, with interment afterwards in Magheragallon Cemetery.

Fonzie (James A) McCullagh, Dungloe

The death has occurred of Fonzie (James A) Mc Cullagh, 'Cluny' Quay Road, Dungloe.
He was a cherished father, deeply missed by his four loving children: Aidan, Conor, Gearldine and Michelle.

Fonzie's partner, Marian, his sisters, Anne-Marie and Dolores, as well as his brothers, Fr. Michael and Noel, all mourn his loss. He leaves behind a legacy of grandeur through his grandchildren and an extensive network of family and friends.

Fonzie's remains will be respectfully reposing at his residence starting from 12pm on Wednesday.  Rosary on both nights at 9pm.

The Funeral Mass will be held in St. Crona's Church, Dungloe, on Friday at 1pm, which can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv followed by his burial in Maghery Cemetery.

Family flowers only, Donations can be made, if desired, to Seminary of Blessed Theodor Romzha Ukraine. 

Rosie McGinty (née Murtagh), Louth / Donegal

The death has occurred of Rosie McGinty (née Murtagh), Louth Village, Louth / Donegal
Peacefully, in the dedicated care of the staff of Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. Predeceased by her husband Jimmy (a native of County Donegal) and her parents Rita and Pat Murtagh. She will be sadly missed by her sorrowing brother John, sisters-in-law Mary (Murtagh), Mary (O’Neill) and Margaret (Gillespie), her nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Rosie will repose in the Eternity Room of Quinn's Funeral Homes, Bridge Street, Dundalk (Eircode A91 KW52) on Wednesday, September 20, from 5pm-8pm. Removal on Thursday, September 21, via her home, to the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Louth Village, arriving for funeral Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Hilda Boyle, Aughavogue, Five Points, Killybegs.

Sadly missed by her nieces Beverly, Lesley, Muriel and Ann-Marie, nephews Damian, Eamonn, Robert, Jack and Alan, carers and friends.

Reposing at McBrearty's Funeral Home. Removal on Wednesday morning, September 20 to St Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs, for 11am funeral Mass. Burial afterwards in the local cemetery.


Mae Doherty, Clonmany

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of Mae Doherty, Chapel Glen, Clonmany.

Loving wife of the late John Joe, a loving mother to Neil, John and the late Anthony. Much loved mother-in-law to Denise and Tillie. Loving grandmother to Sara, Hannah and Callum. Her extended family and friends and everyone who knew and loved her.

Reposing at her late home.

Funeral leaving from there on Thursday morning, September 21 at 10.40am, going to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany for Requiem Mass at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

John Curran, Meenavanaghan, Quigleys Point

The death has taken place at his home of John Curran, Meenavanaghan, Quigleys Point.
His remains are reposing at his home.

Funeral from there on Wednesday, September 20 at 10.15am going to St Columba’s Church, Drung for Requiem Mass at 11am with interment afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has taken place at Letterkenny University Hospital of James Harkin (Big Jim), Glebe, Clonmany.

Removal from Eternal Light Chapel of Rest last evening, to St Mary’s Church, Clonmany to repose overnight.

Funeral Mass on Wednesday, September 20 at 11am, with burial afterwards in the adjoining cemetery.

The death has occurred of Frank Shovlin, Crumlin, Ardara. His remains are reposing at McCabe’s Funeral Premises.

Liam McCauley, 13 Castle Street, Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Liam McCauley, 13 Castle Street, Donegal Town (F94C6DO). He passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by his loving family.

Predeceased by his brothers, Paddy, Gerry, Hughie and sister Mary. Deeply regretted and forever remembered by his wife, Bridie and his children, Treacy (Seamus), Siobhan (Tom), Emer (Gerry), Emmett, Bridin (Stephan), Liam, Sinead (Alan), Shane (Billieanne), Rosa (Mike). Much loved by his 24 grandchildren, his brothers, Anthony and Sean and by his sister Nancy.

Removal on Wednesday, September 20 to St Patrick's Church, Donegal Town, for 11am funeral Mass, with burial afterwards in St Agatha's graveyard Clar, (F94VXT6). Jimmy Spratt, Thurles / Bundoran

The death has occurred of Jimmy Spratt Derryvilla, Glengoole, Thurles, Tipperary, (E41 T3C7) / Bundoran.

He passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his parents Tom and Bridie, sisters Rosie and Patricia and brother Philip.

Deeply regretted by his devoted wife Eileen, sons James, Thomas, Stephen, Michael, David and Damien, sister Mairead, brothers Thomas, Michael, Marty and John, daughter-in-law Emma, son's partners, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brother-in-law, relatives and a wide circle of friends.

Reposing at his home, Derryvilla, Glengoole. Arriving at St James Church, Two Mile Borris on Wednesday, September 20, at 10.30am for Requiem Mass at 11am. Burial afterwards in Two Mile Borris Cemetery. Donations if desired to Home Carers Ireland.


Karl Gillespie, Crossroads

The death has occurred of Karl Gillespie, Crossroads in Birmingham, England. Beloved son of Mary and the late Gregg.

Deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving mother, the extended Gillespie and Gallen families, neighbours, and very many friends.

Funeral at the Church of St Terese of The Child Jesus, Birmingham on Tuesday, will now be followed by removal on Thursday, September 21 to St Patrick’s Church, Crossroads, Killygordon, arriving at approximately 3pm to repose overnight.

Philip McLaughlin (Barr), Manchester, England / Buncrana

The sudden death has occurred of Philip McLaughlin (Barr), Bury, Manchester, England formerly of Leophin, Linsfort, Buncrana. Much loved Father of Tina, Janine and Philip, dearest brother of Rose, Helen and Brigid and the late John, Pauline and Mary.

The funeral is to take place on Thursday, September 21 at St Bernadette’s Church, Whitefield.
