Could you offer one of these beautiful collies from Donegal Dog Pound a home?

The facility has posted details of nine collies in its care in the last two days

Over the course of two days, Donegal Dog Pound has posted details of nine dogs currently in need of rehoming. Click on the arrows to see all nine dogs, and read below for further informaton.

All nine dogs are collies, a breed which sadly often ends up in rescues if they do not make the cut as working sheep dogs. However, many make wonderful pets.

A post on Donegal County Council's Facebook page outlines the age and gender of the collies, as well as important information such as temperament and their suitablity to be around other dogs.

A spokesperson said: "If you are interested, please call the Dog Shelter at 074 91 25159 between 10.30am and 1.30pm, Monday to Friday.

"We are unable to deal with enquiries via Facebook."
