This latest meeting regarding the Life Insular project is an opportunity to engage with Coillte, to ask questions and to have concerns heard

Everyone interested in Murvagh Beach and forest urged to attend public meeting

An in-person meeting with Coillte on the Murvagh Life Insular Project is taking place in Ballintra.

The meeting will be held this Thursday, November 30 at 6pm in St Bridget’s Community Centre in Ballintra (next to St Bridget’s Church).

The Friends of Murvagh Beach community group are encouraging people to attend and to engage with the process.

-Life Insular Project Plan

-Murvagh After Life Management Plan which sets out the future plans for Murvagh and is a work-in - progress document.

This is the latest in a series of meetings which the Friends of Murvagh Beach initiated following news that a section of forest was to be removed to facilitate sand dune restoration.
