The Radisson Blu Hotel in Letterkenny.
A ‘winter wellness’ is being hosted in Letterkenny next Tuesday.
The event will run from 12-2pm at the Radisson Blu Hotel and Councillor Donal ‘Mandy’ Kelly is urging people to attend.
Councillor Kelly is among the speakers,w ho will also include representatives from Social Prescribers; HSE Assist/Safe Talk; LYFS Men’s Group; ATU; Wellness Cafes and Mental Health and Sport.
The MC for the event will be Bill Vaughan and is being hosted by the Donegal Public Participation Network.
There will also be stakeholders and support groups stands, networking and information.
“This event is to focus on mental Health with stands from Support groups etc with all relevant information on display,” Councillor Kelly said.
“I’d urge everyone to come along and listen to the guest speakers and also see the information available.
“This is a very important event that I would urge families, friends, businesses and the general public to take time to attend.
“Unfortunately, mental health has become a major issue in society and is not going away. This will be a very informative event that people can pick up information for friends, families, work colleagues or even for themselves.
“It’s always good to know where you can turn too and what help is out there should someone be needing to avail of it.
“If this information event saves one life it will be a success.”
