N14 reopened following a fatal road collision

Donegal County Council has confirmed that the N14 Lifford to Letterkenny road at Manorcunningham has been reopened to traffic. 

The national road was closed overnight following a fatal two-car collision on Monday evening that claimed the life of one man at Carrickballydooey. Garda Forensic Collision Investigators performed a technical examination of the scene and reopened the road.

Gardaí continue to appeal for any information regarding the road traffic accident which occurred on Monday, December 18. Please contact Letterkenny Garda Station on 074 916 7100 or the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111.

Any road users who were on the N14, on Monday evening between 6.30pm and 7pm and who may have camera footage (including dash cam) is asked to make this available to investigating gardaí.
