Two hospitalised after Mountcharles crash

A man in his 30s and another man, aged in his 20s, were taken to hospital after a two-vehicle collision on the N56 on Wednesday evening

Two men were hospitalised following a road traffic accident near Mountcharles on Wednesday evening.

A man in his 30s and another man, aged in his 20s, were injured in a two-vehicle collision.

The crash occurred at approximately 6.40pm on the N56 road.

The road was closed for a time.

The men were transferred to Letterkenny University Hospital. Their injuries are not believed to be life threatening.

A Garda spokesperson has confirmed that investigations are ‘ongoing’.
