The coat was donated to Animals in Need charity shop
The Animals in Need charity shop in Donegal Town is hoping to find the owner of a house key which arrived with a batch of donated items.
Volunteers were processing the donated clothes when one of their volunteers found the key in the pocket of a coat. They believe it to be a house key, and the organisation is keen to find it's owner.
Volunteers have taken to social media in the hope that by sharing the image, the owner will be found and they can collect the key.
Posting to Facebook on Wednesday, a spokesperson said: "Housekey found in pocket of donated coat today in the charity store. Any one recognise / missing this key?"
The charity shop located in the car park between Specsavers and Aldi is open Tuesday to Saturday from 11am to 4pm. The team can also be contacted via the Animals in Need Donegal Facebook page, by calling 087 764 4420 or by email to animals.inneed@yahoo.ie
