Plans have been submitted for the proposed development of ten new apartments in the middle of Letterkenny.

Omega Fusion Limited have sough the go-ahead for the development to the rear of the Pulse Nightclub.

The company is seeking to remove an existing shed on the site.

This week, they have submitted an application for the construction of a two-storey apartment block that would contain ten apartments.

These would consist of six two-bedroom apartments and four one-bedroom apartments.

The development provides for car parking, bicycle parking, bin storage compounds and landscaped amenity areas, including boundary fencing, as part of what is described in the application as ‘a larger future master plan development on site’.

Connection to the existing public services at the rear is also included.

Donegal County Council say that a decision is due to be made by April 3.
