Emily Tourish, The Bungalow, Listillion, Letterkenny

The peaceful death has taken place at her home of Emily Tourish, The Bungalow, Listillion, Letterkenny F92 EKP7. Deeply missed by her loving parents Seán and Peggy, brother James and wife Teresa, brother Peter and wife Fiona, nieces and nephews Kirsty, Shannon, Conor, Kelly and James, grand-nephew Sam and grand-niece Fiadh, aunts, uncles, extended family and her wonderful carers and special friends.

Emily’s remains will repose at her home on Wednesday, February 28, and Thursday, February 29, from 12 noon until after the Rosary each night at 9pm. Funeral from there on Friday, March 1, at 10.15am going to the Church of the Irish Martyrs, Letterkenny for 11am Requiem Mass which can be viewed on the parish YouTube page https://www.youtube.com/@churchoftheirishmartyrs4657. Interment afterwards in St. Columba’s Church Cemetery, Drumoghill. Family time on the morning of the funeral please.

Denis Carbery (Snr), Kille, Kilcar / Mountmellick, Laois

The peaceful death has occurred of Denis Carbery Snr, Kille, Kilcar, Donegal (formerly of Mountmellick, Laois) in Letterkenny Hospice.

Predeceased by father and mother Ted and Molly, sisters Rose and Noreen and brother Ted. Sadly missed by his loving wife Máire (né McBrearty), sons Denis (Clair) & Paul (Yvonne), daughters Ann (Manus) & Brenda (Georgie), and grandchildren Áine, Grace, Niall, Niamh, Aoife, Emer, Ciara, Robbie, Kevin, Tara, Orla & Lisa.

Fondly missed by sisters Ann, Mary, Irene, Therese, Colette, Pauline and Fionnaula, sister in law Annemarie, and brothers in law Kevin, Jim (RIP), Tim (RIP), Vincent, Brian (RIP), Michael, Tom, Charlie & Cyril, nieces and nephews, relatives, neighbours and many friends.

Reposing at McBreartys Funeral Home, Killybegs on Wednesday, February 28, from 4pm-7pm. Removal on Thursday morning at 12.30pm to St.Mary of the Visitation Church, Killybegs for 1pm Funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the local cemetery. Frank Dorrian, Tullybeg, Ardara

The death has occurred of Frank Dorrian, Tullybeg, Ardara, February 26 2024, peacefully at his home.

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Anne, by his sons James, Frank, Ciaran and his daughters Deirdre (Mark), Patricia (David), Breege Marie and grandchildren. Sadly missed by all his relatives, neighbours and friends.

Reposing at Shovlin’s funeral home, Sandfield, Ardara (F94 N923), on Tuesday February 27 from 4pm until 7pm followed by removal to the family home in Tullybeg. Wake at his home from Tuesday evening until 10pm on Wednesday.

Funeral Mass on Thursday in the Church of the Holy Family, Ardara at 11am followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery. Family flowers only please.

Jarlath Ruane, Bundoran and Donegal Town

The death has occurred of Jarlath Ruane, 2 Station Road, Bundoran and formerly of Wilsons Creek, Donegal Town. February 25, 2024 suddenly and unexpectedly at home.

Beloved and cherished son of Adrian & Mary Ruane and adored brother to Niamh.

Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving parents, sister, his partner Chika Tokunaga, his brother-in-law Khalil Amiri, niece Sara, nephew Jacob, his grandparents Brian & Cautie McEniff, his aunts and uncles Catherine (Kevin), Seanie (Audrey), Fiona, Joanne (Michael), Briani (Karen), Tara (Shane), Barry, Deirdre (Garreth), Frances (Gerard), Brendan (Tracy), Darina (James), Meadbh (Paul), Patrick (Adrienne), James (Ciara), Shena (John), and his late aunt Nina's husband Jarlath, all his many cousins, relatives, colleagues, neighbours and friends.

Predeceased by his grandparents Paddy & Claire Ruane, Frank O'Donnell and his aunt Nina. May Jarlath Rest in Eternal Peace.

Reposing at Breslin's Funeral Home, West End, Bundoran F94E92F on Wednesday February 28 from 2pm to 8pm. All Welcome. Jarlath's Funeral Cortege will depart Station Rd, Bundoran on Thursday morning February 29 at 10.40am to arrive at the Church of Our Lady Star of the Sea, Bundoran for Mass of the Resurrection at 11am. Burial afterwards in St. Ninnidh's Cemetery, Newtown, Bundoran.

Catherine (Kay) Steele (née Gordon), Moville

The death has occurred of Catherine (Kay) Steele (née Gordon), Cooley, Moville, Donegal, F93 D9P9 / Manorcunningham.

Formerly of Manorcunningham. Sadly passed away peacefully following a short illness in the I.C.U. Letterkenny University Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Predeceased by her beloved husband Bertie, sadly missed by her sons James and Andrew, her daughter Linda Her brothers William and Mervyn.

Daughters in law Joanne and Sharon, son in law Gavin, grandchildren Danny Lauren, Dylan, Chloe, Dean, Ben, Shane and Olly. Her great grandchildren, Grace, Darcy and Daniel, and extended family, nieces, nephews, neighbours and her wide circle of friends.

Kay's remains are reposing at her home where you are welcome to pay your respects, family time please from 11pm to 11am. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday February 28 at 2pm in Greenbank Presbyterian Church, Quigley's Point, F93 RW13, followed by burial in the adjoining burial ground.

Cáit Mc Fadden (née Mc Clafferty), Gortahork 

The death has occurred of Cáit Mc Fadden (née Mc Clafferty) in Letterkenny University Hospital of Cáit Mc Fadden, Ardsbeg, Gortahork F92 RW61 formerly of Baltoney, Gortahork. Predeceased by her parents John and Máire. Survived by her husband Colm, daughters Aoife and Róisin, sisters Shelia and Mairead, brothers Hughie, John, Micheal and Seamus, in laws, uncles, aunts, nieces, nephews and a wide circle of family and friends.

Reposing at her home from 11am to 8pm with Rosary at 8pm, house private after Rosary till 11am and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral from there on Wednesday February 28 11am requiem mass in Christ the King Church, Gortahork F92 DP86 with burial afterwards in the adjacent cemetery.

Robert O'Connor, Rockstown, Tooban, Burnfoot, Donegal

The death has occurred at the Donegal Hospice of Robert O'Connor, Rockstown, Tooban, Burnfoot.

Predeceased by his parents Margaret and Frank and his sister Greta.

Beloved husband of Christine, much loved father of Bernadette, Francis, Serena, Seamus, Mairead, Kathleen and Breda and dear brother of Sadie Kelly (late Patrick) and Maire Wilson (Denis). Deeply regretted and will be forever missed by his loving wife, sons, daughters, sons-in-law, daughters-in-law, grandchildren, sisters, brother-in-law, his extended family and many friends.

Reposing at his home where you are welcome to pay your respects.

Removal on Wednesday morning, February 28 at 10.15am going to St Mura's Church, Fahan for Requiem Mass at 11.00am followed by interment in the adjoining graveyard. Requiem Mass can be viewed on www.churchservices.tv/fahan.
