Relic of St Peregrine in Glenswilly for individual blessings and Healing Mass

Fr Vincent Finnegan is bringing the relic of St Peregrine, patron saint of cancer sufferers, to St Columba's Church, Glenswilly.

The relic will be in St Columba's Church on the weekend of March 9 and 10, and worshippers will have a number of opportunities to avail of its presence.

Fr Finnegan said: "The Relic will be in the church for quiet and private veneration after 7.30pm Mass on Saturday until 9.30pm and from 12 noon to 3pm on Sunday. The faithful are welcome to come and pray in a more private way and venerate the relic at this time."

Holy Mass will be celebrated by Fr Vincent Finnegan with the Sacrament of the Sick on Sunday, March 10 at 3pm in St Columba’s Church.

St Peregrine is the said associated with people who are suffering with cancer and other long term illnesses. While in the Franciscan Friary in Rossnowlagh, thousands upon thousands of people flocked to Fr Vincent for blessings with the relic. 

The priest is now serving in Stranorlar, where he continues to celebrated healing services.

This weekend in Glenswilly is a wonderful opportunityfor people to experience the relic in St Columba's Church.
