Kneecap, a rap trio from Belfast is set to perform live in Letterkenny this summer.
The group will headline in The Big Top at The Letterkenny Summer Sessions on August 15, with special guests yet to be announced.
Kneecap announced they will play “our only gig in the North West of Ireland in 2024. We are coming to Leitir Ceannain, Dhún na nGall to play Summer Sessions on August 15 with many special guests to be announced.”
Early bird tickets for Kneecap live at Summer Sessions are now available to pre-order and tickets will go on sale on Monday at 10am.
Kneecap is a rap group hailing from west Belfast, Co Antrim that was established in 2019. The members have stage-names Mo Chara, Móglaí Bap and DJ Próvaí. Kneecap merge the Irish language with English to create a unique sound and use their platform to highlight Irish Republicanism.
Summer Sessions is a new music festival set to take place in Letterkenny this august in the Big Top Marquee in Kiltoy.
The Wolfe Tones have been announced to perform on August 17 and Blindboy is set to bring his live podcast to the stage on August 18.
