Storm Kathleen is leading to a risk of flooding

With Storm Kathleen set to hammer the coast over the weekend, Donegal County Council has announced that the pier car park in Donegal Town will be closed during peak tide times.

Sunday morning's high tide is at 5.22am and the car park will be closed from 4am until 7am.

On Monday morning, high tide is at 6.06am. The car park will be closed from 4.30am to 7.30am.

The closures are due to the predicted storm surge and high water during these times.
