In pictures: North West 10k charity quiz night at Arena 7

Sixteen teams took part in a quiz night at Arena 7 to raise money for the 2024 North West 10k charities: Kilmacrennan, Termon, Gartan, Churchill and Trentagh Community First Responders, Cara House, Letterkenny and Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre.

The 2024 North West 10k charities held a fundraising quiz night on Thursday at Arena 7.

A fine €727 was raised with 16 teams taking part under the watch of quiz-master Michael Leddy.

The winning team of brainboxes were the Howard Way team.

The 27th North West 10k will take place on Bank Holiday Monday, May 6, in Letterkenny.

The charities to benefit from this year are Kilmacrennan, Termon, Gartan, Churchill and Trentagh Community First Responders, Cara House, Letterkenny and Letterkenny Community Childcare Centre.

The quiz followed a fashion show the previous week, which raised an amazing €6,475.

A Night at the Races will take place on Saturday, April 27, at the Swilly Inn, Letterkenny from 8pm.

Entries are being taken for the 27th annual North West 10k - a charity event that has raised over €931,000 since it started in 1997, benefitting 38 charity organisations.

Online entries are now being taken for May’s event by going to https://www.njuko.net/nw_10k_2024.

Runers and walkers will find all the information required. Sponsorship cards are available from committee members and the benefitting charities.
