Historical event to take place focused on Samuel Seaton’s life

Samuel Seaton, a poet and storyteller from Killygordon will be the focus of the next meeting of the Ballybofey and Stranorlar District Historical Society

The next meeting of the Ballybofey and Stranorlar District Historical Society will focus on a poet and storyteller from Killygordon.

The talk will be given by Rev Raymond Blair and will focus on the life of Samuel Seaton. Samuel lived to the age of 87 and died in March 1934.  Not many people have heard of the poet, so it will be of great interest to the people of Finn Valley and surrounding areas.

Everybody is welcome to attend and it is a free event. The talk will take place in Henderson Hall, Stranorlar on Monday, April 22 at 8 pm.
