St Micheal's Church in Creeslough was targeted in the most recent church theft

A sum of cash was stolen during a burglary at St Micheal’s Church, Creeslough.

It is believed that entry was gained to the building via a rear open door. A locked office door within the Church was forced open and the sum of money was stolen from within. 

The incident occurred between 12:40pm and 9:15pm on Sunday, May 12. 

“We appeal to anybody who may have observed suspicious activity around the Church on Sunday to make contact with gardaí,” Garda Shaun Sweeney said. “We are anxious to progress the investigation so if anybody can assist with information we ask them to please contact Milford Garda Station on 074-9153060.
