Gardaí are appealing for public assistance following a ‘very dangerous’ incident in Castlefin.
Allegedly, a number of assaults occurred, an elderly man was ‘badly assaulted’ and vehicles were damaged.
The incidents of assault and criminal damage were reported in the area of Hillhead on Wednesday, May 29 shortly before 9:30pm.
“We appeal to anybody who may have travelled in the area of Hillhead or within Castlefin itself between 9:15pm and 9:45pm with a dash cam to make contact with Gardaí in Letterkenny on 074-9167100,” Garda Niall Maguire said.
