Gardaí seek youths following vacant property vandalism in Downings

A vacant property has been damaged in Downings.

Three windows were smashed at the property located in Larganreagh on Thursday, May 30 at approximately 6:30pm.

Gardaí believe that “the damage may have been caused by a number of youths,” Garda Niall Maguire said.

“We appeal to anybody who may have been in the area with a dash cam to make the footage available to Gardaí.

“We also appeal to the youths in question to come forward to speak to Gardaí. Again, this week we appeal to parents/guardians to speak to their young people about the consequences that they would face if they were to get involved in this type or any type of illegal activity.

“If anybody can assist with dash cam footage or information, we ask them to contact Gardaí in Milford on 074-9153060.”
