A substantial amount of tools was stolen from a van parked in Ballybofey.
The red Vauxhall van was parked on Navenny Street - on the left-hand side of the road past the Finn Harps Pitch heading for Dreenan. The items stolen were two Hilti drills, two cordless Hilti circle saws, two Hilti angle grinders, a cordless quick-cut saw, two Hilti impact guns and two Hilti screw guns. The theft occurred on Saturday, May 25 between 4.30pm and 9pm.
“We appeal to anybody who may have seen any suspicious activity in that area between those times to make contact with us,” Garda Niall Maguire said. “Should anybody come across these types of tools for sale on a second-hand basis then we also ask them to make contact with Gardaí.
