A man in his 30s has been killed in a work-related accident in Donegal.
The incident occurred yesterday evening around Illies, Buncrana. It is understood that the man passed away at the scene after sustaining fatal injuries while doing mechanical work.
The local coroner has been notified post-mortem is due to take place. The Health and Safety Authority has also launched its own investigation into the incident.
“Gardaí were alerted to an incident in Buncrana on Tuesday evening, July 9,” a Garda spokesperson told DonegalLive. “A man (30s) later passed away at the scene.”
