A gym with ice saunas and tubs will open in Killybegs pending planning approval from Donegal County Council.
BMS Warehouse Gym Ltd - which has gyms in several locations across Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim - submitted a 'change of use' application.
If planning is granted, a commercial warehouse on St Catherine's Road and Roshine Road will be transformed into an exercise gym with internal alterations including the provision of changing areas, toilets, staff facilities and stores, as well as the provision of additional fire escape stairs and alterations to the existing side entrance.
Steps and a ramp onto the Roshine Road elevation and elevational changes are also proposed.
A decision on the application is expected on September 9, 2024.
