Donegal customers hit by power cuts

More than 2,000 premises are affected by a fault to the electricity supply in the wider Donegal Town area.

ESB Networks initially confirmed that 2,060 customers were affected by an outage which occurred at 6.16pm. This was expected to be repaired by 7.30pm. 

Shortly after 6.30pm, the service was restored and ESB Networks changed the status Repaired. 

However the power went off again minutes later, and the current restoration times is estimated at 7.45pm.

ESB Networks apologises for any inconvenience.
