A walker was brought to hospital after sustaining an injury in a fall at the Secret Waterfall at Largy, Killybegs.

Among those taking part in a multi -agency rescue on Thursday afternoon were the volunteer crew of Killybegs Coast Guard.

A spokesperson outlined the operation, saying: "Killybegs Coast Guard were were tasked today at 14:49 to the Secret Waterfall.

"A walker had fallen and sustained an injury.

"The casualty was treated by paramedics and transported to a waiting ambulance by our shore team.

"The team were assisted by National Ambulance Service (NAS) and Rescue 118

"We wish the casualty a speedy recovery."
