There is traffic chaos in Letterkenny as the traffic lights at the Polestar have gone out - and won't be back on until Saturday.
Motorists are advised to drive with caution in the area.
The usually heavy Friday evening traffic has been hit further due to the issue at the Polestar – one of the busiest intersections in Donegal.
Donegal County Council has confirmed that the lights are currently out of order.
The local authority said: "Traffic Signals at Polestar Roundabout will not be operating until tomorrow. Traffic are advised to drive as for normal roundabout."
