RNLI Lough Swilly returned two surfers to shore
On Wednesday evening the Lough Swilly RNLI were called out when a concerned member of the public saw two people in the water who were quite a long way out from the shore.
It turned out that the two people were surfers who were enjoying some waves at that time. Both the surfers and the lifeboat crew returned to Ned’s Point and were in good spirits.
Lough Swilly RNLI would like to commend the person who raised the alarm as they would rather launch and find nothing at all rather than not launch at all.
If you are in difficulty in the water dial 999 or 112 and ask for the coast guard.
