A new development is planned for the Atlantic Technological University (ATU) campus in Killybegs.

An application for planning permission has been submitted to Donegal County Council in respect of the proposed development.

ATU is seeking permission for the construction of a new two-storey office building with ancillary facilities and associated site works.

The new facility would also include the installation of solar panels on the roof.

ATU has also sought permission for the erection of what is described as a new sculptural art piece on the site at Shore Road, Killybegs.
