Services held for Liscooley crash victims Ryan Glenn and Samuel Hunter

Services have taken place for two further victims of a road traffic collision in Liscooley.

People lined the streets of Castlederg on Friday for the funeral of Ryan Glenn, a father-of-one killed in a road traffic collision last Friday night.

Mr Glenn, a 25-year-old, was laid to rest in Castlederg Cemetery after a family Service of Thanksgiving at Lynch's Funeral Home on the Castlefin Road. The service was led by Fr. Paul Fraser.

Also on Friday, Samuel Hunter, aged in his 70s, of Murlog, Lifford who also died in the collision, had a funeral service in Ballindrait Presbyterian Church before his remains went to his native Milford for burial.

Family and friends followed the hearse carrying Mr Glenn's remains through the centre of Castlederg as people braved the elements of heavy rain.

Business shutters pulled down as the cortege made its way over the Bridge to the cemetery on the Drumquin Road.

On Thursday, the same scene occurred for the funeral of Gordy Galbraith, Mr Glenn's friend who was in his 30s and who died in the same collision.

A huge wreath spelling "Dad" rested against Ryan's coffin which was clearly visible from the back window of the hearse. Mourners included his parents, son and sister.

Mr Hunter's wife, Dolores, remains seriously ill in Letterkenny University Hospital.
