Adam Anderson from the Stranorlar depot has won the Engineering Operative of the Year at Bus Éireann’s National GEM (Ge Extra Mile) Awards 2024.
Ireland’s national bus company celebrated its employees’ achievements in 2024 at the annual awards, which recognise excellent customer service, community impact, performance and forward-thinking.
Awards were issued in a number of different categories including Apprentice of the Year, Depot of the Year, Craftworker of the Year and several other categories including driver and community awards.

Adam won the Engineering Operative of the Year, demonstrating the commitment and skills the company needs to continue to deliver for communities.
