Planning permission has been sought for a new housing development in Falcarragh to include a community group home.

McHugh Bros. Builders Ltd have submitted an application for the proposed development at Church Road, Falcarragh.

The developers are seeking to construct a four-bedroom community group home on the site.

They are also planning to build 26 dwelling houses. The development, if given the go-ahead, would contain 10 three-bedroom dwellings and 16 two-bedroom dwellings.

The application provides for an access road, footpaths and public lighting facilities.

Open space amenities proposed include the provision of car parking facilities to serve the development and a foul sewer including an effluent treatment plant and rising main to connect to the existing network.

A storm water sewer network and water mains are also included in the application, which provides for all associated site development works.

Donegal County Council say that a decision will be made by the end of March.
