The Go Visit Inishowen team promoting I Love Inishowen Day
I Love Inishowen Day, a celebration of Inishowen run by Go Visit Inishowen, is taking place this Saturday, June 14.
The event, which is running for the second year, highlights the peninsula’s people, businesses, scenery, culture, and food.
Go Visit Inishowen is inviting local businesses and the community to get involved by creating mini-events, offering something unique, or simply sharing their love for Inishowen online.
The tourism organisation hopes the day will drive footfall, boost local pride, and create a social media buzz that shines a light on Inishowen.

Go Visit Inishowen’s digital marketer, Ryan Doherty, said: “Inishowen as we know is a very special place and although we enjoy it 365 days a year, the I Love Inishowen Day gives us a dedicated day to celebrate this unique place.
“To ensure that I Love Inishowen Day becomes an enduring success, we would love for as many people as possible to take part.
“We envision this day as a platform for showcasing this special part of Ireland We would encourage people to use the #iloveinishowenday hashtag on their social media as well as put up their favourite photos of Inishowen. We also have artwork for the day that can be downloaded from the link at the end of this piece. We would also encourage all tourism providers in Inishowen as well as those further afield to get involved.”
