Congratulations! Much joy and good wishes for Donegal couple's on their big win

Jim and Rosaleen Boyle won the holiday to Dubai

There was much joy and good wishes for Jim and Rosaleen Boyle of Killybegs as they were announced winners of a holiday of a lifetime.

The couple bought tickets for a fundraising draw which took place at Eamonn Gillespie’s Concert With The Greats in Bruckless on Sunday, July 13. The raffle was in aid of continuous improvements at the Church of St Joseph and Conal Bruckless and Bruckless Community and Sports Centre.

They were thrilled to bag the magnificent top prize, a holiday for two guests in Dubai in the United Arab Emirates staying in a luxurious 5-star hotel with return flights and on their last night, a dining experience at Mc Cafferty's Downtown Dubai.

Eamonn Gillespie is most grateful to Declan Boyle of McCafferty’s Bar, Donegal Town for sponsoring this very generous prize.

Jim and Rosaleen were enjoying a well deserved afternoon of sun, music and relaxation at Concert With The Greats. Just the previous weekend, on July 5, they oversaw and took part in the 20th staging of Sandra’s Run.

Held in honour of their beloved daughter Sandra who died from leukemia the day before her 18th birthday, the annual event sees hundreds of bikers converge in Killybegs for the run. Many people along the route show their support by displaying teddies in honour of all the sick children in the country.

Through Sandra’s Run, Jim and Rosaleen continue to raise money for The Mater Hospital, The Temple Street Foundation, and this year, for Action Cancer.

The general consensus is that the prize of a holiday of a lifetime certainly went to two very deserving people.
