Despite the grey skies, Killybegs was basking in the warmth of camaraderie and shared passions as motorbikes of all sizes, colours and vintages converged for the 20th staging of Sandra’s Run. The event honours the memory of Killybegs teenager Sandra Boyle who died from leukemia the day before her 18th birthday. It is also a fundraiser for Temple Street, the Mater Hospital and Action Cancer. As always, soft toys lined the route, symbolising all the sick children around the country.
