Ghost is Donegal’s representative at this year’s Nose of Tralee.

He is a 1-year-old Border Collie mix, originally from Clare Animal Welfare, but now lives in Killybegs with his owner, Natasha Peters. “We adopted him when he was 12 weeks old and, although he can be a little nervous, he loves adventures,” she told DonegalLive.

The final round of voting has launched, and “I think it would be fab to see Donegal scoop the Nose of Tralee top spot.” Ghost’s older brother, Caspar, is a 5-year-old tricolour border collie rescue. “He is reactive, and since Ghost came to us, he's helped Casper overcome some of his anxiety.”

Now in its twelfth year, the Nose of Tralee is Ireland’s largest pet competition. The public vote will decide which of the 32 Finalists is crowned the 2025 Nose of Tralee. Vote for Ghost here - you can vote once every 24 hours.

The 2025 Nose Of Tralee Winner will be announced on August 19.
